  • 📜 Votes for Women (and Men!) – Templar’s Historical Protest! 🗳️

In History, Templar class have been exploring the Votes for Women campaigns — from the late Victorian era through to the First World War (1914–1918). Along the way, they discovered that many men also couldn’t vote due to strict rules at the time! This fascinating unit encouraged everyone to think deeply about Fair and Just Democracy for all — a key British Value.

To finish the topic in true historical style, Templar class hosted their very own peaceful protest — inspired by the Suffragists and Suffragettes! Templar Class channelled the passion and determination of those who fought for the right to vote. 💪🕊️

Everyone looked fantastic in their Victorian or Edwardian-style clothing — from Suffragists in long skirts and sashes to gentlemen and policemen in waistcoats and flat caps. 🎩👒

The creativity, enthusiasm, and understanding shown by the children made history truly come alive. We are so proud of how thoughtfully they represented such an important moment in our country’s past. 💜🤍💚
