The Small School with the BIG Heart Spreading Festive Joy in Newton Abbot

Newton Abbot is about to get a little brighter this Christmas thanks to the creative pupils of All Saints Marsh Church of England Academy. Known as the small school with the BIG heart, our children have been busy crafting beautiful Christmas decorations and cards to share the spirit of giving with the local community.

Handmade treasures will have been  hidden in and around Newton Abbot as a festive surprise for anyone to find. Please keep your eyes pealed if you visit the Museum, the library, St Leonard's Tower and lots of local shops! Each decoration and card carries a message of joy and kindness, reminding us all of the true meaning of Christmas.

Found one? We’d love to see your smile!

If you discover one of our surprises, please share a photo of you with your festive find—maybe even hanging on your tree—and send us a photo to allsaints@lapsw.org . Let’s spread the joy far and wide!

Headteacher Liam O’Sullivan said “It was wonderful to see our children engaging with the local community in such a creative way. Their efforts to hide decorations around town brought smiles to so many faces and truly captured the spirit of Christmas, spreading joy and togetherness.

This initiative is part of our commitment to nurturing creativity, kindness, and community spirit in every child. We hope these small acts of love bring big smiles to Newton Abbot this Christmas. We would like to thank Newton Abbot Town Council for opening up St Leaonard's Tower for us to enjoy a visit to Santa’s grotto.
