  • whole school trip to Paignton zoo

A HUGE thank you to the PTFA for enabling our whole school trip to the zoo. We all had a fantastic time. We created memories and stories and learnt interesting facts that will stay with the children for a long time.

Forde Class had a fantastic time at the Zoo. They learnt about lemurs. Did you know their tails help them balance when climbing and jumping and are used as a form of communication with different tail positions and movements used to signal different messages!

Courtenay had a curious time at the zoo! They learnt that giraffes have 7 vertebrae in their necks, like most mammals but teach can measure up to 10 inches in length!

Templar had a terrific time at the zoo. They saw an ostrich egg and were told it would take an hour and a half to boil it to eat with soldiers! They were so lucky to have the sun shining and were able to get up close with some of the BIG animals!
